volume surface area

Volume surface area concept is based on the concept of two and three dimension.Volume is the capacity  inside the three dimensional object whereas surface is connected with the concept of two dimensional object.
Volume surface area are two different things. We ll discuss both volume surface area one by one.

Volume surface area:

Volume of an object:
We have two types of objects one is regular an second is irregular objects
Here we ll  discuss the volume of regular objects.

Volume surface area of a Cube:

Formula for the volume of a cube is  v=length x width x height
As in cubes the length ,width and heigth are same so the formula becomes
v=length x length x length ,Surface Area is
volume surface area

Volume surface area of a cubiod: Since in the cubiod all the dimensions are different so its volume will be:
                                                 V=length x width x height .
The surface area of a cubiod is:

Volume surface area of a cone:

The formula for the volume of a cone is:
volume surface area
Since the base area of the cone is a circle.
Volume surface area of a sphere is:
The volume of a sphere is given by:
The surface area of a sphere is:

These are some formulas of finding volume surface area.
Now we will discuss the surface area of two dimensional objects such as square, rectangle trapezium and parallelograms.
Area of a parallelogram=base x Height
Area of trapezium=1/2 x h x (sum of parallel sides) .
Area of a square= base x height
Since the sides in a square are same so the formula will become
Area of a square=length x length.
Area of rectangle = base x height.
In the rectangles the dimension are different. So the formula will remain same
