Factors and Multiples

In chapter 1 of New Syllabus Mathematics starting from Factors and Multiples.First we'll discuss about the factors and Multiples.Following are the methods to find the factors of any number.
What are the factors and multiples ?

Factors are those numbers which when divided to the given number,get zero remainder.
Example.
Fasctors of 16 are 0,1,2,4,8,16
When we divide 16 by all these number,we'll get zero remainder.In other words we can say that 16 comes in the table of all these numbers.
How we can find the factors???
1.Finding factors by Division.
2.Finding factors by factor tree method.
What are Prime factors??
Prime factors are those factors which are prime numbers.In the above example in factors of 16 only 2 is the Prime Factor.
What is the Prime Factorisation??
The process of spliting the number into its prime factors is called Prime Factorisation.

Prime Factorisation=Prime factor x Prime Factor

Method of Finding the Prime Factors??
1.Finding Prime factors by Division.
2.Finding Prime factors by factor tree method.
